18th century brings huge changes in Rural communities. It transformed Europe and North America into industrialized regions. Technological and scientific advancement was evident on large scale. The large scale of industrialization paves the way to the biggest problem of Mankind. The use of fossil fuels for production purposes served as the main driver of the rise in temperature.

The weather pattern was almost static before we started burning fossil fuels.Global Warming
Climate change refers to the gradual increase of average global temperatures since the industrial revolution. This increase is largely the result of human activities, such as the release of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. The Earth’s climate is deeply interconnected and changing one component can cause changes in many others.

Global Warming : Reason and Effects

The Earth’s climate is affected by the amount of energy that falls on it from the sun. The sun’s energy is divided up by the atmosphere, land, and water and then radiated back out into space. Greenhouse gases, like carbon dioxide, trap some of this energy and cause the Earth to warm.Global Warming

This is evident from the Weather pattern that the change of climate within the last two hundred years is drastic. As per the report of the United Nations, there are several reasons for the Climate Change
Deforestation:
Forest land is being cleaned for the purpose of agriculture and pastures. Another reason can be urbanization. Every year around 12 million hectares are cleaned. Since trees observe carbon, the destruction of jungles limits to nature’s capabilities.Global Warming

Manufacturing Goods:
Fossil fuels are burned to produce cement, iron, and other goods. Mining also releases harmful gases. Widely used plastic is also made from chemicals that can be sourced from petroleum. The largest greenhouse gas emissions are done by the manufacturing industry.

A few other reasons for global warming are generating power for the consumption of the urban and rural populations, Using vehicles to move passengers and goods.
The IPCC has estimated that if we want to stay below the dangerous level of 2 degrees Celsius of warming, we need to reduce our emissions of greenhouse gases by 80 to 95 percent.Global Warming

This will require a dramatic change
Due to this dramatic situation, there are some prominent effects of climate change are visible. Sufficient data has been collected by the research institutions to prove that these changes are happing at a brisk pace. A few effects are mentioned below:
Rise in Temperatures- The Yester decade was recorded as the warmest ever. Since 1980 there is no year has come when the temperature of a year is less than the previous year. The temperature of the world is ever-increasing and less ice in the arctic showing that the effects may be more harmful than our expectations. Australian wildfire was an example that how dangerous wildfire can be for the entire planet.Global Warming

The frequency of wildfires is increasing with higher temperatures.

Storms- Data from the last 10 years is indicating that severe storms are becoming frequent. The storms that destroyed many cities and towns in America are just a few examples. The Bay of Bengal in the region of the Indian subcontinent start recording more severe storms than the last year.

Frequent Drought- The conditions of drought in Australia and the African continent are just the start of a long wait for rain. The intense drought is destroying communities in desert areas. The increased risk of drought is not a good sign for agriculture. The ecosystem is becoming vulnerable.
Extinction – Climate change is already causing the extinction of many species of animals and plants. It is only a matter of time before the extinction of humans is also caused by climate change.

The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) has warned that climate change is “the greatest threat to the long-term future of humanity.” And the World Wildlife Fund has said that climate change is caused extinction of many species of plants and animals Global Warming

The IPCC has warned that by the end of the century, climate change could cause the extinction of up to 50% of plant and animal species. This includes the extinction of many unique and endangered species.

The World Wildlife Fund has also warned that climate change is already causing the extinction of many species of animals and plants. This includes the extinction of many unique and endangered species.

Mitigation- The degree of climate change should be less than now. The reduction is necessary to take the required measures to ensure that climate change should not harmful to mankind. The number of greenhouse gases that are trapped in the atmosphere should be decreased.. Electricity based on hydro should be appreciated and the use of battery-based vehicles should be promoted among the communities.

Enough measure has to be taken to ensure the stabilization of greenhouse gases. Agriculture also should not be threatened by these measures. The need is to keep the planet beautiful and alive.
